Sometimes I wonder as a relatively young person doing business.
"What is the difference between doing nothing and a strategic pause"
I've been through a lot situations where I just have to wait for the result. It feels like waiting for my plan to fit into place. But in reality plans have so much variables that it is difficult for the plan to fit all the time. So when the plan becomes a fail. It comes to me as if I've just waited 3 months of my life.
On the other hand if I alter with the plan and try to mess with it while on it's way the plan becomes more awry because of the butterfly effect. and considering that most plans take more than a quarter to see a bit of progress, impatience can lead a good plan to a bad direction.
So basically, Mentors around me suggest strategic pause, Because at least we can assess the situation more correctly. In other words, This means if I change the plan while I'm executing it.the failure will not be able to validate because switching plans makes to many reasons in the end. And if I take a strategic pause I can assess and validate.
It really makes me wonder. So which one is statistically higher? Are they both low? and if they have the similar results than which one is better?
